Newby Bridge is the perfect place to locate yourself if you are looking for a tranquil stay in the heart of the Lakes with shared (with the owner) lakeside grounds of over 200 acres and approximately 3/4 mile of lake shore.
Town Head Cottage is adjoined to stables and barns, currently used for storage by the owners, who are the only other residents on the estate.
Town Head used to be a working farm, it has much interesting history and is a beautiful place to walk around. Beatrix Potter even bought some of her animals from Town Head. The original stone pig sty still stands close to the cottage in the entrance of the woods.
